We’ve got some great news to share!
Our Junior Partner, Maxwell Schrieffer, successfully secured a complete dismissal of the Wyatt v. Strauss matter, following the favorable outcome of a Motion for Summary Judgment. Big win!
We’re happy to share that on February 7th, the Washington County Courthouse in Oregon rendered a ruling in favor of P.K. Schrieffer LLP concerning a Motion for Summary Judgment after having heard oral arguments posed by our own Junior Partner, Maxwell Schrieffer. The personal injury matter arose as a result of a workplace injury whereby a construction company’s employee alleged fault upon a commercial landlord.
Maxwell Schrieffer and his team filed a Motion for Summary Judgment on the basis Oregon’s ELL or OSEA laws did not apply, nor was there any evidence of causation. Oral arguments were heard on February 3rd . The Court rendered its ruling within hours of oral argument.
Thanks to the hard work of Mr. Schrieffer’s team, our wonderful client’s assistance, the Court’s ruling has resulted in a dismissal with prejudice for the lawsuit.
