Donald S. Zalewski received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with department honors, from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Mr. Zalewski is admitted to practice law in California and to the United States District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California. Mr. Zalewski has more than 20 years of experience in civil litigation and has represented individuals, corporations, partnerships, contractors and insurance companies in California state and federal courts. He has participated in over 20 non-binding arbitrations, over 200 mediations and court settlement conferences. Mr. Zalewski has defended and tried 8 jury trials to verdict in the areas of premises liability, automobile negligence, contractual indemnity and consumer warranty cases. Mr. Zalewski successfully argued before the California Fourth District Division Two, Riverside, to uphold the trial court’s grant of a motion for summary judgment in favor of a premises owner in a non-published opinion. Mr. Zalewski successfully argued before the California Fourth District Court of Appeal, Division Three, Santa Ana, to uphold the jury’s verdict following an 8 day trial in a consumer warranty case which was is a published case: Fry v.
